The Holy Spirit: Like a Midwife, but much more...

Just like the midwife, The Holy Spirit facilitates our birth into God's family.

However, whilst the work of a midwife ends either after delivery or some days (about a month) after delivery; the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Christian believer is unending.  

"Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit."- 1 Corinthians 12:3 (NIV)
