The Power Of His Resurrection

"He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."- Luke 24:6-7

If Christ had not risen, humanity would have been doomed, our faith would have been in vain and we would have been of all people most miserable.

Job says: "I Know my Redeemer lives." (Job 19:25)
Jesus says: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;" (Revelation 1:18)

Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is risen, He is alive forever more, Amen! As Christians all over the world commemorate another Easter Day, it is very important to know that the cross is the eternal stage for the beautiful exchange.

Paul prayed for an encounter with the Resurrection Power: the power that raised Jesus from the dead, the power of supernatural turnaround.

"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"- Philippians 3:10

God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the mighty power that broke the power of death; spoilt principality and power; destroyed the power of the grave; and brought Jesus back to life from the dead.

"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."- Romans 8:11

This same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead must be dwelling in you for His resurrection power to be at work in your life.

The Power of His Resurrection is the power that transforms:
- Death to Life- (Ephesians 1:19-20)
- Sin to Righteousness- (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- Condemnation to Justifcation- (Romans 4:25)
- Curses to Blessings- (Galatians 3:13)
- Sickness/Disease/Affliction to Health- (1 Peter 2:24)
- Turmoil/Unrest/Trouble to Peace- (Isaiah 53:5)
- Sorrow/Grief to Joy- (Isaiah 53:3)

The resurrection power at work in your live enables you to live in the newness of life, where your old life is gone and the new life is come.

"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."- Romans 6:4

Let us therefore walk in the newness of life in the power of His resurrection: being dead to sin and self; and alive in Christ Jesus. 

I pray for you as you read this piece that: 'Because the Lord Jesus Christ lives, you shall live also- In the mighty name of the risen Lord Jesus-Amen!'
