Good Bye, Good Night Dad!

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I do this post as a tribute to my beloved dad who passed on to glory just over five weeks ago. His funeral took place today Friday 30th October, 2009 at Ado-Ekiti in Nigeria.

Dad's death was a shock and huge blow to us his children, relatives and friends. We will miss him so dearly, but sweet and fond memories of him shall always remain in our hearts.

We love you dad, and we thank the Almighty God for your admirable and sacrificial life, much more we thank the Lord for taking you to glory, into the bosom of father Abraham. Rest on oh beloved dad, for even in death you win, and you remain precious to us and to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Obedience does most certainly carry its rewards with it. In obedience lies yours and mine rewards in life. Obedience is one of those eternal virtues that pleases, delights and touches so profoundly the heart of the one being obeyed.
