Beginning an adventure is not quite as important as completing the adventure. Some times we make mistakes, get bruised, knocked down and fall in the adventure of life.
Being knocked down or making mistakes is not the problem, but failing to rise up when we fall and err is the issue.
A champion is one who rises up after being knocked down to win the battle. A winner is one who rises from the ashes of failure and succeeds to win the prize.
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."- Romans 8:37
An overcomer is one who overcomes the daunting set-backs and challenges on his path and triumphs. A success is one who rises from the pains of defeat and the consequences of his/her mistakes and errors to breakthrough in life.
"Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise;"- Micah 7:8
As a child of God, you are not created to fail, you are made to succeed. You are not created to be living under circumstances, defeat, failure; but to be above them. You are not enslaved to sin or evil or wickedness; but you are created to rule and have dominion over them.
"For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world,"- 1 John 5:4
So refuse to stay on the ground when you fall, get up and arise as the conqueror that you are. That is why the scripture admonishes to "Arise", "Rise Up" either from a state or position of defeat, fear, hopelessness, failure, lethargy, captivity, resignation, sorrow and condemnation.
"Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion;... Shake yourself from the dust, Arise;... Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,"- Isaiah 52:1-2
