Is The Truth

This is the concluding part of the write-up on 'The Word- Is the Truth' posted last week Tuesday, please read on.

So when the Bible- The Word of God tells us that mankind and the entire universe with the billions of stars, galactic bodies and cosmic being where created by God, that is "The Truth". Every other theories, propositions and intellectual explanations of evolution or the big bang that opposes "The Truth" are blatant lies and falsehood, that humanity should beware of.

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning? Can you direct the movement of the stars.... Do you know the laws of the universe?  Can you use them to regulate the earth?"- Job 38:4,25,31,33.

"Indeed God tells the truth, even if everyone else is a liar. The Scriptures say about God, "Your words will be proven true, and in court you will win your case."- Romans 3:4 (CEV).

What a joy to know that Jesus Christ is 'The Truth' of God revealed to the world. You either take it, believe it or leave it. There is no debating, doubting, contending, arguing, rebelling, refuting 'The Truth'. You only reject 'The Truth' at your loss, detriment and peril.

"For we can do nothing against the Truth [not serve any party or personal interest], but only for the Truth [which is the Gospel].- 2 Corinthians 13:8 (Amplified).

I urge you today to come in line with 'The Truth', remember the local adage translated at the beginning of this piece last week: "If falsehood or lie has been perpetrated for twenty years, it will only take a day for the truth to overcome it". Don’t be deceived, tricked and fooled anymore by the lies of the devil.

"He (the devil) has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies."- John 8:44.

Jesus said: "I am the Truth"- (John 14:6), that simply implies that you can only come to the knowledge of 'The Truth' and the True God through Jesus. The invitation here today is: Shake yourself free from every false mind-set, misconception, prejudice, practices and beliefs that you may have been entrenched in all through your life.

'The Truth' refreshes, it empowers, it liberates, it sets free, above all is has a reward of eternity with God. I appeal to you today to come off your high horse or ignorance and accept 'The Truth' of the Gospel of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, Who is able to save your soul from hell and guarantee you eternity with God.

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.- John 8:32&36.

I conclude this post by taking a line from a very popular chorus in Nigeria:

'God said it, I believe it and that settles it.'

'God said it, I believe it and that settles it.' thanks for this. i've been feeling low since yesterday. waiting is so hard. thank you for this encouragement. thank you for reminding me that my God will fight for me and He is in control.
