The Passion II

He Lives Forever.

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."- Revelation 1:18

We serve a living God, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ conquered death when God raised Him from the death on the third day. Jesus is alive and lives forever more. He is not in the grave neither is He on the cross anymore, He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father in glory.

“...Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!..."- Luke 24:5-6

As we remember this resurrection day, we rejoice and celebrate the victory of Christ over death, hell, sin, evil and the power of the evil one. A victory won for us that we may be free and live the resurrection life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

"...Because I live, you will live also."- John 14:19

So nothing can hold us down anymore, sin cannot rule, reign and have dominion over us anymore. Death and the power of the grave cannot have dominion over us anymore. We have being rescued from the kingdom of darkness and the force of hell; from sickness, disease and sorrow, because Christ lives we shall live also.

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."- Romans 8:11

The same spirit that raised Christ from the death and conquered the power of the grave now lives in us. The life we now live is the resurrection life: free from every bondage, condemnation, damnation, captivity, inhibition, accusation, sin, sorrow, pain, regret, weakness, affliction. For the resurrection life of Christ now lives in us making us more than conquerors, overcomers, champions, winners.

"...I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;"- Galatians 2:20

We are dead to sin, alive in Christ. Living the resurrection life by the power of the Holy Spirit, living in the fulness of life and abundance of every blessing that Christ purchased for us by His life, death, resurrection and ascension to glory. Living daily in the great expectation of a most fulfilling life here on earth and the hope of eternity with God, because our Redeemer is alive and He lives forever more- Amen.

"For I know that my Redeemer lives,"- Job 19:25

Thank You Jesus for all You have done: Your Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension to glory!

Jesus has already defeated satan! Jesus rose from the dead. an empty tomb means Jesus is alive. an empty tomb means our hope is alive.
