I woke this morning with a scripture that painted the picture of a tower to me. Not just an ordinary tower but a mighty and very strong tower. A tower of refuge, a tower of rest, a tower of safety, a tower of security, a tower of succour, a tower of help, a hiding place in His Presence, a tower of strength.
Not a place to beat a hasty retreat into for fear of defeat, or a place to be cowed into by the fear of challenging situations and circumstances. But a tower of peace, a tower of strength, a tower of preservation, a tower of power, a resting place for the renewal and replenishing of our strength.
As the scripture painted this grand, splendid, awesome and majestic picture of this strong tower, I saw that this Strong and Mighty Tower is: THE NAME OF THE LORD.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.- Proverbs 18:10
This Strong Tower is my Rock and Fotress, a solid, firm, unmovable ground, platform or foundation on which I stand today and always. To keep my feet, eyes, mind and heart on the right, unwavering, unfailing and undoubting path today and always. To strengthen me and keep me from falling and failing as I sojourn through life.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,- Psalm 46:1-2
This Strong Tower is my Peace, Joy and Resting Place, a place of rest and comfort in tough, difficult and trying times. To preserve me from all fear and evil out there; and grant me His joy and peace in His Presence to subdue the challenges that faces me. To renew, replenish and re-coup my strength in Him today and always.
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents- Psalm 91:9-10,13
I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!- Deuteronomy 32:3

Keep marchin on... Wealthy Warrior!
Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me. (Psalm 144:1-2)
