Hymn of Faith

What hymn, song or melody was in your heart and mouth when you woke up this morning? Was it a song of praise or despair; joy or sadness; thanksgivng or complaining; faith or doubt?

I choose to have a song and melody of praise, joy, thanksgiving and faith for I know The Lord Jesus is good and He is working all things out for my good, therefore I can sing:

Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. -(Habakkuk 3:17-19)

Back from Bible Week '07

A Blessed People

Just returned from a week (July 21-26, 2007) of blessings, revelation, joy, anointing at the annual Bible Week Conference at Staffordshire, England.

From the onset of the conference to the end, it was obvious that God's agenda was to bless His people as they gathered unto Him.

The Healing Virtue

"Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,...
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." -Isaiah 53:1,4&5

At the Church meeting yesterday, Andrew Caughey, one of the elder at All Nations Church, Cardiff spoke on what I have captioned the Healing Virtue.

These are stories meant to illustrate, teach and communicate important moral, ethical and spiritual lessons. These stories help to simplify complex life situations, thereby imparting the wisdom, concepts and lessons conveyed by the stories.

In Case Of Rain

The fields were parched and brown from lack of rain, and the crops lay wilting from thirst. People were anxious and irritable as they searched the sky for any sign of relief. Days turned into arid weeks. No rain came.

The ministers of the local churches called for an hour of prayer on the town square the following Saturday. They requested that everyone bring on object of faith for inspiration.

In a Minute
A man was taking it easy, laying on the grass and looking up at the clouds. He was identifying shapes when he decided to talk to God.

"God", he said, "how long is a million years?"

God answered, "In my frame of reference, it's about a minute."

The man asked, "God, how much is a million dollars?"
