Our Heritage in God

I have recently been meditating and pondering on the blessing of God for all His children. It is really striking and heart-warming to know that the heart of our heavenly Father to us His earthly children is that of blessing. Blessing- is our inheritance as children of God that belong to His family. It is indeed our Heritage in God!

Long lines at the store

It was the day of the big sale. Rumors of the sale and some advertising in the local paper were the main reason for the long line that formed in front of the store by 8:30, the store's opening time.

A small man pushed his way to the front of the line, only to be pushed back, amid loud and colorful curses. On the man's second attempt, he was punched square in the jaw, & knocked around a bit, and then thrown to the end of the line again.

As he got up the second time, he said to the person at the end of the line, "That does it! If they hit me one more time, I'm not opening the store!"

Making A Difference

Once a young man observed a man in his 80's planting an apple orchard. The old man lovingly and painstakingly prepared the soil, planted the tiny saplings, and watered them. Castle & Sky

This strikingly beautiful picture was featured as the Astronomy Picture of the Day in the month of January 2007. It is a  picture of the brilliant Venus and a slender crescent Moon overlooking a small Spanish town, along with a well-lit Castle Almodovar.
