Celebrating His Faithfulness II

Because of Christ Jesus

I did a post on Celebrating the faithfulness of God in June 2006. This post is a follow-up on that theme. Longman Active Study Dictionary defines "faithful" as remaining loyal to someone or something and continuing to support them: i.e. a faithful friend.

Isn't it amazing that we refer to the The Spirit of the Living God, The Spirit of Christ Jesus as a faithful friend- it is truly no co-incidence at all that we do. Because of Christ Jesus, we can live in, and enjoy the faithfulness of God, free from all fears, worries, strongholds and condemnation.

When you come into Christ, as a believer, saint, redeemed of the LORD, God is eternally committed to you and you are bound to Him. He becomes your faithful friend.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?"- Romans 8:35

When He calls you, you are tied to Him forever, His mercy, grace, loving kindness he pours out lavishly upon you. He will never, never, never abandon, forsake or give you up. Your name is imprinted in the palm of His hand. I have not yet seen that thing, situation, force or creature, neither have I heard of that being that can take away the faithful, loyal and undying love of God from His chosen, called and beloved.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."- Romans 8:38-39

By the precious blood of Christ Jesus and by the reason of His sacrifice on the cross, you & I become the apple of God's eyes, His treasured and priced possession, His royal priesthood, His beloved bride, His righteousness in Christ Jesus, His people set apart for His glory & wonderful praise.

"Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for he is the one who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us."- Romans 8:34 (NLT)

What a great joy! We can celebrate God's faithfulness because of Christ Jesus.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,"- Romans 8:1

Because of Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation, charge, contention, situation, circumstance, opposition or adversary that rises up against you, and against the knowledge of Christ that shall stand. They shall be utterly dismissed and shattered-  In the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
