Got back to Pontypridd, Wales last Friday from Staffordshire, England- venue of the annual Bible Week Conference which ended with the final corporate evening meeting on Thursday July 27, 2006.
Keri Jones speaking at the final meeting made couple of statements that stuck with me, he said: "Leadership is not about managing people, it is about giving them a vision"; "The will of God is your home" and "The safest place for you to be on earth is in the will of God"
The conference was an unusual time in God's presence, where the Word of God was preached and proclaimed with power during the corporate gatherings where anointed men such as Keri Jones, Tony Ling, Bryan Shutt, Andrew Hughes and Noralv Askeland ministered.
The Seminars were equally refreshing, I attended the seminar titled: "Created to Conquer".
This seminar was conducted by Richard Dalley & Richard Jones. For three consecutive mornings the truth about God's original intention, plan and purpose (See Genesis 1:26-30) for his people was clearly taught.
Our position in Christ, Christ living in us through the fellowship we have with Him by the Holy Spirit, the power, authority and victory conferred on us via the salvation and redemption we find through the death and resurrection of Christ was well taught during the course of this seminar.
In summary the seminar clearly emphasized that:
- We are born to overcome.
- We have been called to reign.
- We have been created to conquer.
- We have been chosen to conquer.
- We have been redeemed to conquer.
(see Romans 8:37; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 John 4:4 & 1 John 5:4-5).
There were reports of salvations at the Children meeting and baptisms in the Spirit at the Youth meeting. Some children were baptised in water and there was a release of fresh oil and anointing upon all at the corporate gathering after Andrew Hughes had ministered on the "Horn & Flask anointing" (See 1 Samuel 10; 1 Samuel 16 & Psalm 92:10).
What more! The weather was absolutely beautiful- as it was really hot and warm (which was an answer to our prayers), far better off than a wet, soggy and cold weather.
Thank you LORD for the amazing and wonderful reports from the Bible Week 2006, for salvations, baptisms, the anointing, blessings, free-will offerings, beautiful weather, fellowship with one another in your presence, divine encounters and visitations.
welcome back, akinola! good to know your bible week was successful, all for the glory of God!
God bless. :)
