The last three days of last week were great, unique, creative and fruitful days of sowing and evangelism in and around Cardiff University, UWIC and the University of Glamorgan.
The evangelism team that I work with- Jon, Lydia, Saskia and Khalida had the great opportunity of going out together with the students from the School of the Word- SOTW, Cardiff on a 3-day evangelism outreach in and around these Universities .
"Then He said to them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest."- Luke 10:2
It was unique because we had a sizable number of evangelists (about 20) join us to effectively reach the campuses during these three days (there is indeed power in number), more importantly these evangelists were the SOTW student; who were willing, excited and ready to take the gospel to these campuses in the power of the Spirit.
"And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."- Mark 16:15
It was a creative time of evangelism as we engaged strategies that we had not used before. Such as putting together a questionnaire to poll students opinion on social, religious, moral, ethical issues and also recording of some of these interview on the video camera. Though these were new methods of evangelism being employed; these methods proved to be really successful as they connected well with students and the questions got them thinking; on the back of which we then introduced the gospel to them.
These three days were fruitful days of evangelism, because as we all went out sowing the good seeds of the gospel using these creative means, the Lord Himself was with us and causing those seeds sown to bring forth fruitful harvests, even when we did not see instantaneous fruits on the spot.
The fruits started manifesting during the Sunday morning Church service yesterday, when an appeal for salvation was made and to the glory of God, one of the four people that responded was one of the numerous people we had met during the evangelism outreach the previous week. He subsequently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour and was baptised in water.
"And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen."- Mark 16:20
Praise be the Name of the Lord.
Great News!! God is so good. My all of you continue to reap the harvest--Very exciting. There is nothing like seeing someone give their lives over to Jesus!! I'm prayer for all of you.

Akinola!
That's great news! Praise the Lord! Wasn't it great when those people responded to the salvation appeal and then were water baptised?
You guys are all doing a fantastic job in Cardiff and Pontypridd and it is a continual joy to work with you.
Have a great week, go get 'em!
