It's A Miracle

Here are some quotes from the miraculous escape of the 155  passengers and crew aboard US Airways Airbus A320 that crashed into New York's Hudson river yesterday:

On his Friday morning radio show, Mayor Michael B loomberg said the city "got away with a miracle."

"About four minutes after take-off, and then hell. But they got a miracle. The U.S. Air pilots doing what no one else thought could be done, flying with no engines and safely putting down a big commercial aircraft in the Hudson River. It could have been catastrophic. It could have hit Manhattan skyscrapers... and tonight we could be mourning more than 150 dead. But that's not what happened and so we are celebrating."- FOX News

Living Proof

...indeed a notable miracle hath been done...; and we cannot deny it.- Acts 4:16

I got hint of this miraculous story from my friend- Gavin White who did a post on it on his blog. It is the testimony of the healing and saving power of the Living God today as reported by the BBC.

Indeed...

Got a phone call early this morning from a very good friend of mine- Ayodeji Rotibi who just moved to Caerphilly from Pontypridd in South Wales. It was a very pleasing report of the ever-increasing favour and goodness of the Lord to him and his wife- Omotayo.

Spontaneously these line came to mind: "For The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever." Indeed our God is good and there is no evil in Him. This news from my friend, along with many other amazing, mind-blowing, incredible, awe-inspiring, spirit-exciting report from him and his family are direct answers to the prayers offered to the Lord.

This excites my faith in God and His unshakable goodness to His children, His established good plans for our lives and the sure heritage of goodness we have in Him.

Today, Why not taste and see for yourself that indeed the Lord is Good.

This is my own prayer today: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.- Amen (See Psalm 23)

Your Identity

Working with students has made me seen again the enormous influence that peer pressure, media, pop and fashion images exerts on young people in forming a perception of who they are. More often than not embedding in their minds an untrue, false and pseudo view of their identity.

I felt a burden to shed a bit of light on how I discovered my real identity. This is a question begging for answer in the heart of everyone who has not made that ultimate discovery yet- Who am I?

The King, The Law-giver & The Judge

For the second time in the space of seven months the almighty GOD has wrought landmark and momentous victories for me. Our God is a great, mighty, sovereign and awesome God, the Creator of all the heavens and the earth, the LORD and ruler over all, Who does whatever He pleases.

Just like Daniel said in the book of Daniel 4:2- " I am glad to tell about the wonderful miracles God Most High has done for me."

Last January I did a post on "A Walkover Victory", where I made a vague reference to the battle the Lord fought and the victory He won for me; and I just walked confidently into the court-room to gather the spoils, laurel, rewards and entitlements of a legally declared winner.

A Walkover Victory

This term or phrase, whichever you prefer to call it, came to me during the course of my activities today. Infact it accurately describes the outcome of one of the event that clearly marked out my day today.

I think 'A Walkover Victory' attempts to describe a situation where you have been declared, proclaimed or adjudged to have won a victory in a battle, contest or case (either in the battle-ground, arena or court) that you did not show up for.
