God is Not a Man!
As we commence a new year, it is assuring and comforting to know that God is not a man. As humans we are prone to changing mood, that means we may promise to do or give something to our friends or loved ones, but end up not doing what we have promised to do, just because we have changed our mind.
There is this story of an illiterate and unworldly peasant who struck it rich. He bought a first class ticket for a train journey to the city, but because he was uneducated and unaware of his privileges he ended up in the third class cabin. He had a first class ticket, but could not use it because he did not know what he had.
You see as Christian believers, the Scripture tells us that our Heavenly Father has made all provisions ready and available for us in the adventure of life through His Son Jesus Christ.
"Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches."- Proverbs 24:3-4
A wise man once said: 'Wisdom creates a structure, understanding puts a framework within the structure, knowledge furnishes and puts in the details within the frame-worked structure.'
It takes wisdom, creativity and ingenuity to build anything in life. Wisdom is a builder, creator and maker of things. Wisdom is a creative force, it brings into existence and reality what is yet to be. I like the way the scripture puts it:
"And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith""- Luke 17:5
A wise man once said: 'The living faith is the acting faith; and the acting faith is the winning faith".
It is striking to hear the response of the Lord Jesus to the request of the Apostles for an increase in faith. It was a very good and noble thing that they were asking for.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it."- John 1:5
A wiseman once said: 'The glory of light is made manifest in the midst of darkness'
You may have learnt that the sky and clouds goes very dark before the break of dawn. As dusk sets in, the day gradually goes dark and darker through the night and darkest before the dawn of a new day.
OMNI-POTENT FATHER

Imagine what it would be like to have a natural father who can do just anything you want for you- an All-powerful and almighty father, I guess that would be kool!
Come
God has got amazing plan for His children. His plan is for us is enjoy life, and to enjoy it to the fulness.
We are not made to go through the journey of life as merely existing or just surviving, we are made to live a life of abundance, fulness, completeness and wholeness in God.
Gird your sword upon your thigh
"Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, With Your glory and Your majesty."- Psalm 45:3
A wise man once said: 'An army does not go to battle unarmed, likewise a nation does not go to war ill-equipped.'
You cannot successfully execute any battle in life without being properly armed and equipped for the battle at hand.
Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Psalm 138:8
A popular adage says: "He who starts a project is not worthy of praise, but he who completes his project."
As we enter the last month of the year, it is heart-warming to be reassured from the infallible, inerrant, immutable Word of God that He- the Lord will perfect that which concerns His sons and daughters in the remaining days of this year. For our God is the God of fullness, wholeness, perfection and completion; He is not the half measure God. He is worthy of all praise.
